We already have a detailed spec. Why do you ask about the problem?
A spec describes one possible solution. To build the right one, we need to know how your company works, who will use the system and what happens after launch. That's usually where the missing pieces are, and where budgets double when nobody asks.
How much does a custom project cost?
It depends on what the system has to solve, so we don't quote from a feature list. After a short discovery you get a clear scope and an estimate you can compare line by line with other offers. Here's how to read a software cost estimate and spot the red flags.
Should we build custom software or buy an off-the-shelf tool?
Build where it sets you apart: where you meet your customers, and in the processes that make your company work differently from others. Buy what's the same everywhere, like accounting. Often the answer is in between: keep the SaaS and add an integration or a custom module. We'll tell you which fits.
We built a prototype with AI tools. Can you turn it into a product?
Yes, and it's a great starting point. We review what you've built, keep what works and rebuild what can't carry production load, especially security and architecture, which can't be bolted on at the end.
Our previous team is gone. Can you take over?
In most cases, yes. We start with a code and infrastructure audit, stabilize what's critical, then take over development. If a rebuild is the better option, you'll hear it with reasons, not as a default.
Why do quotes for the same project differ so much?
The rate is only part of it. What matters more is how each vendor approaches your problem. Send a list of requirements and you get prices for that list. Describe the problem and you get different ways to solve it, which is better, because a spec rarely shows the whole picture.
What happens after launch?
The first months are for stabilization and fixes. After that, a small, closed system may only need library updates and security patches. Growing products usually keep a part-time engineer or a small team. We talk about this cost before we start.
How do you use AI without increasing risk?
AI handles repeatable work on a mature stack, and an engineer reviews every output. Decisions about architecture, security and business logic stay with people.
Can we extend our own team with your engineers?
Yes. Dedicated teams and individual developers working inside your organization are available. Most clients, though, come to us for end-to-end delivery, with a product manager as their main point of contact.
